Accessories – Sydney

For as long as I can remember, I have always wanted to make beautiful things. As a little girl I was fascinated with weaving pieces of grass into bracelets in the playground, drawing on every blank surface in sight and making jewellery with everything from paper, beads, plastics & string. Anything I could see, everything had potential. In 2008 I pursued this love and studied a BA (Jewellery) at Charles Sturt University. During this time I was interested in exploring the possibility of colour in jewellery, leading me to experiment with alternative materials, primarily laminate. I was drawn to laminate because of its endless possibilities, especially in terms of colour My work now combines pieces made from both precious metals and laminate. Every piece is hand made and designed from my space at SquarePeg Studios, Newtown. I use traditional jewellery techniques combined with alternative materials to make jewellery that is organic, playful and fun.
