Performing Art – Dallas - Fort Worth
I am a performing artist who specializes in movement. Not your typical \"dancer\". I love experimenting with the combination of theory and effort quality in movement. You\'ll find in my performances, I tell stories through my body and write poems with expressions of human nature. I am a local artist in Dallas, TX., but I travel to perform and take classes with world renown teachers such as Elizabeth Corbett (William Forsythe) & Ming Lung Yang. Although I\'ve been blessed to take classes from such great teachers, I have a humble background. My family isn\'t rich, so I work two jobs to help around the house and save for classes like the ones I listed above. I\'m the oldest of two younger siblings. My little sister and brother. I am motivated to be a good influence on them and show them that despite any circumstance, you can reach your destiny with hard work and just being the best YOU that you can be. I\'m blessed to have parents that actually believe in me and are supportive through this artistic process called life. There have been times where I got discouraged and thought I couldn\'t really get to the hills I had been looking towards, but all too coincidental, something would happen. An email, phone call, or just a voice from inside would encourage me that this is just apart of the process. That though I may not accomplish my destiny the way others have, I will still get there.
