K.S. MacRae

I’ve always been passionate about my art, even back when it was just doodles on the borders of elementary school assignments. I’m entirely self-taught, though some formal training is definitely something I aspire to. I love painting; the texture of it, the colours, the smell, that feeling that I get when I know I’m on to something but not quite how to make it work. I’m a gay artist, also someone who manages some mental health issues (these days I’m proud to say that I’ve found healthy coping mechanisms for the latter), and overall I’ve overcome a lot. I see my art sometimes as an outlet, and other times as a way to find peace. I hope it comes through in my work. I’m always networking and very friendly, so please feel free to drop me a line for anything, even just to say ‘hey’.
