LAB by Laura Busony

I was born in a steel town in rural Pennsylvania to parents who used their own hands to build practically everything they had. From them, I learned that if you really wanted something, there was no more satisfying a way to get it than to make it yourself. With that in mind, I taught myself how to manipulate metal to create whatever was in my head -- from huge steel mobiles, to innovative jewelry. Even though I now live in Brooklyn, working with my hands runs deep in my blood. I believe in handmade craftsmanship and working with organically occurring materials, and I love being able to use my own skills to create handmade, unique, yet very wearable designs.
