Visual Art – Philadelphia

I was born and raised in Ethiopia and at the age of 10 my family immigrated to the united States. Being in the United states opened so many doors for me that would have been impossible if I stayed. I am currently Studying Architecture at Temple University. My love for art started freshman year in high school when I was introduced to conte and charcoal. I made my first ever portrait with charcoal which came out beautiful. since then I became in love with art and the lifestyle that art brought along. As I grew as an artist and acquired more skills and techniques the more my world started revolving around art. Art helped me become myself and helped me share my thoughts and opinions.
