Every so often a fashion asteroid hits the scene and breaks the mold. That phenomenon is the premier women’s clothing line “Lashele Lavey” designed by Brittany Lashele Campbell. In just a short time she has become the topic of discussion amongst Fashionista’s, bloggers, photographer and Magazine articles. Lashele was raised in Baltimore Maryland, were she taught herself how to sew. At the age of 12 years old, she started designing. From drawing gowns on the back of her homework to now making her Dreams a reality. What started off as hobby then became a career in itself. Her collection was created back in 2008. Using old clothes from thrift shops and recreating them into Beautiful garments is how Lashele would get her inspiration. From starting her first collection in Baltimore Maryland to now being featured in Magazines in New York , London , Australia , Egypt etc.. There is no telling what this young talented self-taught designer has in store for us just yet. Her inspiration comes from, The Mood, The stars, Galaxy, Music, Life experiences, dreams, nature and Art. Admiring designers like Coco Chanel, Valentino, and Oscar de la Renta. Her biggest goal is to change the “Eye of Fashion”. Bring Life, Creativity and Design back into the clothes. Show young Women that you don’t have to expose yourself to be sexy.
