Saul Latvanen

Saul Ramirez(Latvanen) was born in Michoacan, Mexico in 1989. Since Latvanen’s mother was a professional seamstress, he grew up surrounded by fabrics, textures and evening gowns. Inspired by the feel of the fabric and the art of putting together an ensemble, he fell in love with the process of creating new garments. Though highly influenced by his mother, Saul has now developed his own unique sense of design and fashion. Today he works with his aunt who is another source of inspiration for Latvanen. He works with her in a boutique called Novedades Cazares. Though he has been working there for two years, Saul makes sure to continue expanding his expertise even still. His strong passion for design has fueled a desire to pursue a degree in fashion. He is currently attending Sacramento City and American River College
