Visual Art – Newcastle
Laura Alice Tedder, 18 year old from the Central Coast of NSW, originally from London, but made the move to Australia 2 years ago, always wanted to make it somewhere with my art. Specialising in black and white pen/ pencil designs. I am aiming to make my dream into a reality, and succeed in the art industry. I have been drawing ever since a very young age, and have had a strong passion for art ever since. I have been able to develop a particular style over the past couple of years, but this was through millions of failed attempts of experimentation and practice; But now I feel comfortable with my technique. My work has been featured in a art exhibition in Newcastle. My work has also been featured on band merchandise of Tiger Towns 2016 tour, and profits from the sales were given to charity. I was selected to design for Groovin the Moo Festival 2016, and my work was featured at the festival itself. Now I am featuring at RAW and I feel so grateful. I feel extremely lucky for the opportunities that have been given to me the past year and where I am today, I can only hope this is the beginning of something special and will only get better.
