Laura Dasi has been a performing artist for over 30 years. She appeared as a contestant on America’s Got Talent in June 2014, where she amazed and inspired millions of people across the world not only with her aerial performance but by sharing her story of overcoming difficulty to follow her passion and pursue her dreams. Laura is a former classical ballerina and enjoyed a professional dance career in New York City for 7 years. Jennifer Curry Wingrove, renowned Ballerina of the California Ballet Company, has performed a diverse repertoire of lead roles in her accomplished international career. She is also an award-winning choreographer and has had the privilege of working closely with the great Debra Brown of Cirque du Soleil. Jennifer can be seen dancing in Coldplay’s music video “True Love”, as well as in the movie “Petals On the Wind”. Laura and Jennifer’s paths crossed after they both began to pursue training in aerial arts in 2011. Drawing upon their extensive experience in dance they both excelled quickly in this new endeavor and felt an immediate synergistic connection when working together. With a daring display of strength, agility, grace and passion while suspended high above the ground this dynamic duo continues to push their boundaries with each piece they create, incorporating new levels of technical difficulty while integrating an innate sense of emotion and musicality. The Flying Ballerinas perform throughout southern California and teach aerial silk classes at Aerial Revolution in San Diego.
