Visual Art – Chicago
Laura (L.A.) Hawbaker is a writer and artist based in Chicago by way of New Orleans, Hawaii, Poland, Thailand and Prague. Her work has been exhibited in Chicago at the Bridgeport Art Gallery and Oak Park Art League, and she has sold art at the Frenchmen Art Market and Pirate’s Alley in New Orleans. She served as the 2020-2021 Artist-in-Residence at Columbia College Chicago's Aesthetics of Research.
