Music – Brisbane
Laura Louise, Brisbane based solo artist, grew up in country South East Queensland and moved to Brisbane in 2007. Laura started her performing career as a dancer but quickly discovered that singing was her passion. In 2011 she met former guitarist, Tim Cook, with whom she formed the duo Bamford Cook. The band performed around Brisbane and surrounds, supporting Sarah McLeod of The Superjesus in 2013 and travelling to Los Angeles in 2016 to record their debut EP Magnolia Ave. In 2017, Laura decided to pursue a solo career as Laura Louise. The Laura Louise journey is still young but she is excited to be recording her first single and debut EP in the coming months and is looking forward to sharing her stories with the world in mid to late 2018.
