Visual Art – Minneapolis

I was raised by two talented artists, my parents, who taught me everything they knew from a very young age. They use all different mediums so therefore I learned many different types of art, from weaving and sewing to painting and sculpting. I did my first weaving when I was just two years old and have never stopped creating. I love painting the images I come up with in my head. I am a tedious painter, I tend to pay close attention to detail and use very small brushes, making each piece time consuming but rewarding at the same time. I like to include things I love in my work like red shoes and Bonsai trees. In most cases I paint surreal images, things you won’t ever see in real life. I also love vintage, old, rusty, usually half buried things that I can clean up and make sculptures out of. Things that would most likely be forgotten and lost forever. I turn into one of a kind irreplaceable works of art to be hung on the wall and enjoyed. The last fifteen years or so I have been expanding my visions using sewing and paper. I have a store of one of a kind fashion, accessories, art cards and whatever else I felt like making. Designing whole photo shoots is another favorite art form of mine, I will design and make a set, put looks together, making custom clothing and accessories as needed and do the makeup and hair. I hope to keep creating all that I can in my time on this earth.
