Lee Leonard

I create paintings that are something different to each person so they may take away their own interpretation. My paintings are a personal journey of reflection. My goal is to convey emotion to the viewer with color and movement. My artistic process relies heavily on texture and water. Flowing water creates its own individual path while revealing what lies beneath. I use anything at my fingertips to create layered texture- cardboard, plaster, sand, thread or paper. All recycled from another life. I am a very emotional painter and I hope to convey what I was feeling through my art.
