Leila Parnian

Visual Art – Phoenix

I was born in Scottsdale, Arizona (first generation in the United States) and rushed my way through high school and college, graduating both in a total of 6 years. I continued on to earn my Masters in Urban and Environmental Planning. During college, I won collegiate Nationals. I am also a three time All American Racquetball player. I took over our family business, Parnian Furniture, in North Scottsdale. This is where I spend most of my time designing furniture and day dreaming about art, music and poetry. I spend my evenings going to Crossfit Blur and after this is where my creative juices get going. I create at night. I write, paint and play the piano. I compose music on the spot - songs you would think I have spent years practicing to perform for an audience, but I literally make it up as I go. I write poetry for self therapy. And finally, I paint. I paint beautiful things that shed pain. If you get to know me, you will meet a friendly yet random individual who is imploding with creativity that needs to get it. I am known to make my dreams come true and enjoy a good challenge. I enjoy the hustle. I am a business woman and boss, yet a delicate artist who dreams of the world knowing the ins and outs of Leila Parnian.
