Music – Toronto

Born in St. Catherine Jamaica. Named Roylan Wynter by his father. He migrated to Toronto, Canada with his aunt before he was barely 2 years old. Growing up on the west side of the city, what Leo often refers to as (“The Other-Side”) . Leo encountered many hardships and obstacles in the difficult streets of Rexdale Toronto, Ontario. Raised by his aunt and her spouse in a homey old fashioned environment. Leo became very knowledgeable of many classic musical oldies from the golden age. Songs from Michael Jackson, Stevie Wonder, and even older sounds from Nat King Cole inspired his soulful yet still aggressive approach to his music. One of the biggest influences through out his hip hop adventure has been J. Cole. The 1st hip hop mixtape he ever listened to was “The Come Up” by J. Cole during his 1st year of high school. As time passed his love and passion for music grew. By his 3rd year of high school he couldn’t help but begin to imitate the tones he was hearing in music. Eventually as his teenage years progressed he developed a unique ability to hit Michael Jackson esk notes and rap a mean verse when the moment calls for it.
