Visual Art – San Antonio

"Art is everywhere you look, life is a masterpiece," I been doing art ever since I could remember. Born and raised in San Antonio Texas I always desired to become an artist. When I was a teenager my dad tried to pay for art classes for me but became too expensive for me to continue, that's about all the schooling I've ever had in art. But I never gave up practicing art, from that point on, everything I know about art I taught myself. With a few tips along the way from other artist, I am proclaimed a self taught artist. I try to surround my art around my faith and personal interest. I'm blessed to be able to paint and display my art and most importantly I'm blessed to be alive and free. At a young age I rebelled and got into selling drugs and soon became addicted to them. In my early 20's I was always found in the bars selling drugs and getting into bar fights disputing over territory. I've been shot at, beaten half way to death, overdosed, and inches away from being incarcerated. In the lowest point of my life I cried out to God to help from all the damaged I caused in my life and in the lives of others. I believe God heard my prayer and helped me become the man I am now. I strive to walk a righteous path, though many times I find myself walking alone, I feel God is always with me. I choose to humble myself to serve others with my art and always give thanks to God for giving me the opportunity. Galatians 5:13
