Accessories – Indianapolis
I have been an artist in one form or another throughout my life. As a teenager, I made bead jewelry and tiny sculpture, as well as drawing and writing poetry. I had thought about becoming a comic book artist or a tattoo artist. I discovered cooking from a chef who taught me that baking is science and cooking is art. Her favorite quote was \"You eat with your eyes first.\" Since then, my other artistic endeavors took a backseat to earning a living... until March of 2010, when I made my first hat on a whim.
A few months after that first hat, a friend asked me to make miniature pillboxes for her burlesque-themed wedding. A week later, two of her wedding guests phoned to order custom miniature pillboxes to match their outfits for the wedding. I\'ve been hooked ever since.
