Lillian Masters

23, Painter, National Art School. I work within an expressionist/figurative tradition utilising drawing/brushwork and textural surface to arrive at pictorial expressions/distortions of psychology. I use a tonal approach to help achieve a particular atmosphere within my work and to also harmonise colour. My focus varies from portraiture/figurative/still-life/abstraction with my formal concerns generally addressing the structural process and emotive qualities.
