Performing Art – Los Angeles

I am a choreographer/dancer/director from Burbank, CA. I have been dancing since the age of 13. I grew up with a father who's a musician and a mother who loves to teach and make a difference. Their genes have been combined in me to share my passion for the arts and teach kids of low income families to help them achieve their dreams of becoming a professional dancer. Helping these kids out is part of my mission and goal to achieve my biggest dream of all, to become a successful artist in the industry and travel the world. It's been a long journey with many obstacles that I had to overcome. Although my parents were the ones that introduced me to the arts, they weren't supportive of it after high school. After a few years of studying dance in college, I was forced of having to change my career or else my parents would not support college. With me fearing them, I listened to them and changed my major. For 8 years I spent time in college studying psychology, but it wasn't what I wanted to do with my life. An artist has a vision to express visually and that's what I came to do in this world. When I got back into dance in 2011, it was struggle to get all of my fundamentals back in me. I studied dance again at IDA Hollywood where I became a workstudy and trained intensely there for over 4 years. I have taken my students from the local middle school and began our own dance company with my best friend Steven Lopez and have performed in Vegas, MAXT OUT, and have over 30,000 views on YouTube with new concept videos. I once began to set my life apart to dedicate time to my students while also struggling with a thyroid disease which affects my energy and strength level. All these obstacles only made me stronger and this year has now become my time. After all the hard work I've put into, I'm ready to showcase my work to the world. Helping out the community of North Hollywood has been a blessing and I'm ready for more. Now is my time to make my dream come true.
