Little Black Brooch

Little Black Brooch is a vintage-fused, costume jewellery, greeting card and fabric design business, which is solely owned by myself, Vanessa Kellas. My dream is to bring back the art of the traditional cameo brooch and the passion for wearing them by introducing a more modern, and sometimes macabre element to a very classic design. Our exclusive Little Black Brooch introduces a modern twist to the classic elements of the cameo by using sturdy, laser-cut perspex, resulting in a strong and clearly defined, architectonic piece of vintage-inspired jewellery. LBB also introduces other ways of wearing the brooch by creating brooch rings and pendants, and also incorporating the classic design elements of the traditional cameo, and ornate frame surround, into greeting cards, and signature fabric designs which are then used to make handbags, purses and our new homewares range of lampshades and cushions. LBB is also excited to announce our new range of circus and sideshow wall hangings and flags. All products are designed, cut and hand-made in Australia.
