Liz Ogletree

Visual Art – Denver

Elizabeth Ogletree was born and raised in a small town in Georgia, where she experienced a childhood and adolescence of epilepsy that both isolated her from her peers and opened her mind to other realms through creative expression. Left with fragments of memories after each loss of consciousness, she began to translate visions of realites she would visit into drawings, paintings, designs, and sculpture. Her work is the memory of her childhood spent in ancient ethereal dimensions, past lives visited, the ageless beings encountered weaving the fabric of space-time, and the divine underpinnings of this impossible existence. She paints to asks the viewer to see the imagination as a portal into realms beyond the poles of nothingness and omnipresence, and the power of what lies hidden beneath the surface of the self. Elizabeth graduated from the University of Georgia with a BFA in Fabric Design. She currently lives in Denver, CO. where she lives and breathes self-transformation through her craft.
