Lizzie Hobbs

I am a northern lass who has gravitated to the bright lights of London. I come from a creative family and started experimenting with art from a young age. Beginning with doodles, I enjoyed drawing freehand patterns and decided to make something of it. Basically I draw onto any surface I can get my hands on, from paper to textiles to walls. My pieces incorporate elements from India and the Middle East, and some have social messages woven into them to get people thinking and questioning. Over the years I have developed my work further (and hope to continue doing so), whilst studying and working. I\'m currently doing a degree in South Asian Studies and Hindi to \'feed\' my passion for India. I\'m constantly looking for new creative projects and challenges, and believe that art is a powerful tool for expressing oneself and bringing people together.
