Lauren Kembi

Despite being in the BFA Architecture program at SCAD, Lauren has always been drawn to other visual arts fields. Her work focuses on anatomy, and its raw aspects. The unifying idea in her work is the attempt to push the boundaries of what is considered visually appealing and morbid. Real beauty, even from differing eras and concepts, makes a statement. Real beauty does not conform, it confounds.
