Lisa Mitchison

Hi my name is Lisa Mitchison, I’m 24 and I’ve been a part of the amazing hair industry for 10 years. At age 16 I started my apprenticeship in Newcastle, and worked for an up market salon where I received great education in the salon and going along to Cut/Colour Courses and Look and Learn Seminar’s. With these experienced I received great opportunities, I entered and placed Runner Up in Australia/New Zealand for Cut/Colour Trend Competition for JOICO and worked behind the scenes styling Hair for a TV commercial. After 4 years in Newcastle I move to Sydney to further my career and I started working in a Boutique Salon, and worked for a creative director for JOICO. Under his guidance I received further education attending many courses, Shows & seminars. Whilst there for 3 years, I trained junior staff, helped backstage for many JOICO shows, Mind food magazine AND Fashion Week events. I worked with fashion designers, makeup artist and photographers on Fashion Shoots and managed my own high end fashion shoot for my own portfolio. In January 2014 I decided it was time to venture back home, and my most rewarding achievement is starting my own business in Morpeth.
