With previous songwriting awards under her belt -- Great American Songwriting Contest & Unisong International Songwriting Competition -- she spent last Summer in NYC teaming up with Grammy award-winning and nominated writers. Rose collaborated with writer/guitarist Greg Camp (formerly of Smash Mouth) and writer/pianist Jeff Franzel (Josh Groban, N\'Sync, Clay Aiken) to pen what would become her 6-song debut: Kick Drum. Since the release of the album, Rose has put some miles on her mic with performances at the House of Blues on Sunset, The Witzend in LA and The Slipper Room in NYC, with more dates on the horizon. The album also helped her bring home 3 \"Best Of Indy\" awards including Best New Album, Best New Music Video, and Best Soul/R&B Artist. Rose is currently working with DJ/Remixer/Producer Dave Aude\' who\'s given London\'s title song Kick Drum a club-ready makeover. The remix has spent 2+ months on the Billboard Dance Club Chart and claimed a peak spot of #15.
