Photography – Ventura

My rabbit hole, is the viewfinder of my camera. I find when I am looking through this hole, I see a different world. A world of possibilities and of limitless imagination, ready to be captured and displayed to all who see and appreciate art. My work may not be for everyone. My work is still evolving, finding itself reforming to the objects, expressions, emotions, movements and forms I see. Right at this moment, if a person were to ask me “what kind of photographer are you?”, my answer would be “an eclectic one.” I capture images that move me. My current influences are by photographers such as; Richard Avedon, Irving Penn, Edward Weston and current fashion photographers such as Lara Jade and Lindsey Adler. I also enjoy images from Fine Art photographer, such as Sia Aryai and Lois Greenfield with her exploration of movement in her subjects. I have never been good with words and composing them in a manner that can move people, so I will let my artist statement be short and simple and let my images do all my talking. All I ask of those viewing my work is to keep an open mind, do not criticize and acknowledge that I am an artist creating images I would like for you to see through my eyes.
