Hi! My name is Alyssa Goldsmith. I grew up in the bay area in a chaotic environment. Growing up, I would always try on my mothers clothing and dress and re-dress my twin sister for hours at a time. In high school I would spend my free time drawing and styling friends to make them feel more confident. The older I have gotten, the more important creativity has become to me. It is especially important to me to design or create things that help to better the world around me and that help people feel more confident in themselves. I\'ve always loved to meet interesting people, and let my varied interactions and experiences with these people show me a new perspective on life and inspire my work. I recently graduated from UC Davis, where I had the unique pleasure of studying design. I spent a summer abroad in France studying painting and drawing, which allowed me to see art in a new way. I used these experiences to inspire my recent fashion collection which was shown on the runway in Davis and San Francisco. I have experience in a variety of mediums including textile design, fashion, graphic, web, and print design. Designing has never felt like work, I gladly lose sleep to create a project that I am happy with and would be happy to continue creating beauty for the rest of my life.
