Visual Art – Pittsburgh
My name is Lyss and I call Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania home. Prior to Pittsburgh, I grew up in southern California and spent summers in New Mexico with family. The contrast in my environments- from the rural and rustic beauty of the desert in New Mexico to the bold and industrial qualities of the city found in Pittsburgh- is where I draw my inspiration from. I originally dove into art thanks to my grandpa who became a professional artist after serving as a Marine in the Vietnam War. He inspired me to use art to express myself.
