Accessories – Perth
Magical Maritime launched in January, but I’ve been designing pins for about a year. It took me a long time to discover where I wanted to go with my art; I love designing, but deep down, I think I’ve always wanted people to see my work and have it be that little distraction that makes you smile and boosts you through whatever you’re feeling. That kind of feeling you get whenever you look at cute dogs, or in my case, the cute charms I like to hang off my bag. I forget they’re there, but whenever I focus on them long enough, it helps to ground me and keep me going. I hope to achieve something similar by working with enamel pins - as they’re durable and easy to take wherever you go.
