Visual Art – Orange County

Art is in my blood. My Oma (grandma) is a remarkable painter. At a young age I taught myself to draw by recreating Disney VHS covers. My Oma taught me to oil paint when I was around seven. I did not care for the way the oil paints worked, so several years later I made the switch to acrylics. I found a new love for painting, and started building my portfolio. I have a wide range of work based on my inspirations. I find inspiration from my life, like family vacations, feelings, jobs, places I\'ve lived, sport teams, and pets. Painting from memories makes me feel closer to my work, and gives viewers a glimpse into my life. I\'m currently a Fine Arts: Painting and Illustration Major at the Academy of Art University, working towards my BFA.
