Martin Calvo

My name is Martin. I am originally from Oaxaca Mexico. I have lived in the US for 12 years now. I have loved creativity since I was a kid and coming from such a rich culture that is based on traditions and customs where they survive from their art and creativity it only feels natural for me to express myself.I come from a family of hard workers and I take from what I have learned from my mom about being true to myself all the time down to all the wonderful foods she taught me to make. Spending time with all my siblings and creating memories, I love to take from my experiences in Mexico and my life here in Santa Cruz with my wife, daughter and all my great friends, and create pieces that will hopefully give so much enjoyment and wonder to others.
