Beauty – Philadelphia

Ramika Monique Guillory is a licensed seasoned cosmetologist, a member of the Professional Beauty Association (PBA) and sole owner of Shear Ingenuity Hair Salon in Philadelphia, PA. With over two decades in the beauty industry, Ramika considers herself to be the “Picasso of Hair” who specializes in enhancing natural beauty through innovative techniques, creative designs and exceptional client care. She believes that hairstyling should be treated as an art form and strives to create “masterpiece” styles for each of her clients. Ramika recognized her passion for hairstyling at an early age and built a small clientele of family and friends based purely on her natural talent. After receiving her license from Gordon Phillips Beauty School in 1995, Ramika has continued to perfect her craft and evolve with the changing trends of the beauty industry. She has participated in advanced master training in hair coloring and weaving extensions and is skilled in hair cutting for all hair textures and multi-cultural hair care. Ramika’s artistry and range as a stylist is evident by her diverse clientele which boasts both new and long-term clients varying in age, gender and culture. Her ability to attract and retain clients is a true testament to her aptitude as a hairstylist and businesswoman. Over the course of her career, Ramika has developed quite an impressive resume. Her work has been featured in countless hair shows, runway fashion shows, theater productions, photo shoots, music videos and industry publications including Style Q. Ramika has participated as a member of the styling team for Mercedes Benz Fashion Week for designer Vivienne Hu, New York Fashion Week for designer Korto Momolu, Couture New York Fashion Week, Atlantic City Fashion Week and Philly Fashion Week spring and fall collection since 2011. Arising from this event she was given the opportunity style the models during the advertisement segment of The Eye Opener on PHL 17. Ramika was also a hairstylist for BET’s Sunday Best with Yolanda Adams, Cece Winans, Kirk Franklin and Donnie McClurkin. In addition to these high profile engagements, Ramika also takes time to give back to the community as well. She has lent her styling talents to Stomp the Runway to fight against domestic violence, Style Me Hire and Career Wardrobes “Work It” event for unemployed women and Stop CAID to prevent child auto inflammatory diseases. Ramika is also a certified educator for the Look Good, Feel Better program for the American Cancer Society . Considering all that Ramika has accomplished, she is only beginning to make her mark in the beauty industry. As a professional stylist and salon owner she has many different projects and ventures on the horizon such as Shear Ingenuity Cosmetics and Shear Ingenuity Virgin Hair that will continue to build her professional portfolio and solidify her prosperous future.
