Megan Hutto

I grew up in central Texas and spent more weekends than I can count out at the pasture helping to take care of the cattle. My grandpa taught me to draw while sitting next to a bale of hay and looking out at the cows. All through school I drew to relieve stress from my courses. When I got older I went to the University of Texas at Austin and got my degree in History and Linguistics. Austin, Texas is such a great community for artists. I loved being able to go to festivals every weekend and see the amazing talent in the city. It\'s hard not to feel a connection to art and music when you\'re in a place like Austin. Now, I\'ve moved to Boulder for my first year of grad school and I really hope to find that sort of community here as well.
