Visual Art – Philadelphia

I am a visual artist, teacher, and mother of three from South Jersey. My art merges old and new, abstract and realism with a sense of simplistic literacy to it. Most of my paintings combine realistic subjects in an abstract setting. My work plays with bright, bold colors, while rendering texture. I work mostly in acrylics, oil paints, watercolor paints and have experience in stained glass and ceramics. My subject matter varies according to the medium I am using, ranging from realistic still lifes to abstract conceptual art influenced by music and theology to whimsical fantasy art which is greatly influenced by my children. I have recently began exploring the genre of Steampunk art, mainly through jewelry and accessory creations.
