Melissa’s unique vision for photography is solidly rooted in her ability to see what most of us overlook in our desire to quickly get from point A to point B. Raised in the heartland of the Midwest in rural Indiana, Melissa learned to take the extra time to not only smell the flowers, but to actually see the plants in all their natural beauty.
As an award winning member of Gannett’s advertising team, Melissa learned to turn the client’s needs into pictures and print. This skill carried over to her many successful years of sales and marketing for one of the nation’s largest independent furniture stores.
As circumstances now allow, Melissa is able to share her love of photography with others. Free from the daily stress of the corporate world, she is once again able to capture unique visions from around the garden, country, and world.
