Melissa Maya Pottery

I\'m a ceramic artist living in Denver, CO. I am originally from Toledo, OH and have lived in New York (City and upstate) and Costa Rica before landing in Colorado. I am currently making all of my ceramic work in my garage studio at home as well as at the Arvada Ceramic Arts Guild where I am a member. I graduated from Bowling Green State University in 2008 where I got a BFA in glass and ceramics. Since then I have been doing some wandering around, became a yoga teacher, which I do part time, and now I finally have a place again work on my pottery. I love the whole process of making things out of clay, from throwing to trimming to decorating.
