Visual Art – Toronto
I am a visual artist with a passion for theatre set design and scenic painting. A graduate of York University’s Devised Theatre program, I trained in collective creation with a specialization in set and costume design. I teach drama and costume creation for children's programs and work as a scenic artist and props designer for theatre companies across Toronto, as well as painting in acrylics and watercolour by commission. Recent work: scenic painter for "The Hunchback of Notre Dame" (Alexander Showcase Theatre), scenic artist for "Beauty and the Beast" (Wavestage Theatre Company), set design assistant for the Dora Award nominated "LULU v.7 // aspects of a femme fatale" (the red light district and Buddies in Bad Times Theatre).
