Micah Mickles is a photographer specializing in fashion, lifestyle, music, and portraiture. Originally from St. Louis, Missouri where he became influenced by the likes of the many musicians that hail from there, he got his start in producing and djaying. Upon studying fine arts in Chicago and later moving to New York City, he received invaluable experience working with notable photographers, fashion brands, and studios such as Milk Studios and Karmaloop, this sparked the beginning of his creative experience as an artist.
Being a self-taught photographer who fell in love with Polaroid 600 instant film cameras at an early age he was inspired by images of people and the spontaniety an urban environment can create. His desire to blend in and connect with a broad range of people allows his work to speak for him through the people he photographs.
