Bio: With hypnotic beats and clever word play, M.I.C. is on the fast-track to become Houston\'s next big rap star. From opening for known Southern artist such as Dallas Blocker, Yungstar, and E.S.G., to shooting videos to entertain his thousands of YouTube followers, M.I.C. has hit the ground running ever since he found his love for music. That love for music began with his grandparents in New Orleans. His grandfather, Morris Burton, was a former jazz musician, and taught M.I.C. how to play the clarinet. That musical foundation helped M.I.C. become a self-taught guitarist who now infuses those same rhythms and beats into his music as a producer and writer for R&B and rap music. After spending years in a local hip hop group, M.I.C. decided to branch out on his own.In 2011 his hit single \"Supabad\" video was in heavy rotation on Houston My 20\'s Street Flava TV show. The single got rave reviews as M.I.C. performed all over the city and even debuted on Chicago\'s 107.5 WGCI where it was well received. M.I.C.was recently nominated for a 2012 Houston Press Award \"Best Mixtape\" for his collaboration with Potnaz N Ryhme He\'s made appearances at SXSW, Los Magnificos Car Show, Street Flava\'s 1st Annual Bullydog Carshow, local area clubs,festivals, and colleges.
