MilkBaby Bikini

I am Cat Thordarson, designer and creator of MilkBaby Bikini in Los Angeles and have been creating my line, by hand, for the last 4 years. My inspiration for swimwear came from my swimming and water background-swimteam, lifeguard, swim instructor, surfer, beach bum, etc. My specialty is custom bikinis, which I have made a business out of in Missoula, MT, in my own boutique called Cat's Eye Designs. I also design bikinis for Sports Illustrated Swimsuit, based on their color stories and themes for each of the photo shoots that they do. After making suits for at least six photo shoots last year, I felt so honored to be featured in the SI Swimsuit Issue, as well as si.com for 2011. Currently, I am finishing the final collection for SI Swimsuit 2012, while I continue to work on MilkBaby's travel inspired collections and create custom bikinis for local clients.
