Everyone use to to ask me years ago, Cindy what do you want to be when you grow up? My response was always \"a Doctor.\" Well the thing about being a doctor is you can\'t mix things up or make a beautiful mess of things that come out so creative & beautiful. So I went straight from high school into college to study Biology. During my sophomore year of college I really enjoyed more than just the lipgloss & mascara. I started to explore more of the makeup world and I realized that I actually loved wearing it. I continued to explore & play in makeup not knowing that it was actually my passion. Fast forward 6 years later…..I moved to Philadelphia after graduation to start a job as a Laboratory Technician. Shortly after starting the job, I finally acted upon the thought of starting my own independent, makeup business. Miss Beautynista\'s Makeup Artistry was born March 2012. Since then I have taken several educational, makeup artistry classes with some of the industries best, published in several magazines such as \"Queen Size,\" \"Bridal Tribe,\" \"Essence & more. I have worked with other industry professionals from NYC to ATL, Authors. I also have did a bit of FX work & currently trying my hands at hairstyling. There is no limit to my creativity! I live, eat, sleep & breathe makeup artistry. It has been my outlet in life & it has awarded me abundantly.
