As a young aspiring artist, I\'m still looking for my own identity as an artistic individual. Fortunately, my continuous growth has helped me to absorb different artistic techniques, media, styles, and ideas. Coming from a conservative, academic-driven Asian American family, I\'ve struggled and still struggle to this day to pave my own path of creativity rather than one driven by stereotypical expectations. I\'m currently in the process of applying to art schools, but before I become defined by the standards of one particular school, I hope to be able to solidify my own individual style and increase my level of artistic creativity through art shows and individual projects.
