Fashion – Indianapolis

For artist Monique Burts art and fashion is revealed in everything from daily interactions to ordinary objects such as computer paper. Even as a young girl, Monique had a particular eye for design and fashion. As a child attending church on Sundays, Monique would wear the typical patent leather dress shoes picked out by her parents, but always pack additional shoes to have a wardrobe change by the end of service. Monique’s field of disciplines range from wood work, paper manipulation, metal work, and mixed media. In the future, Monique plans to keep using her talents to leave a lasting impact in the art and fashion industry. She is incredibly passionate about bridging the gap between sculpture design and fashion.
