Raised in Perth since the age of three with mostly animals for company, emerging artist Monday has spent all her life drawing the world around her. Inspired by folk tales and mythology, she uses pens and watercolours to claim some of the beauty of the world she sees as her own. Finding herself at the end of yet another contract in mid-2013, she decided to take a leap, switch careers and follow her dreams of being an artist. Since then she has exhibited at ArtLab\'s Occupy Pop-Up gallery, RAW\'s Encompass and Up-Late in Mt Hawthorn, with her abilities as a portraitist in high demand. She is currently collaborating with fellow RAW Perth artists on illustrative props for a show in the upcoming 2014 Fringe World Festival.
