Visual Art – Wollongong

Morgannah Noble is an Australian artist / illustrator based in Wollongong, NSW. Primarily working with fine point pen, ink, graphite and water colours to create therapeutically fluid, highly detailed and vivid images on paper. Morgannah has studied a Bachelor of Science in Psychology at the University of Wollongong. Crediting her artistic interest into the introspection of her own personal and social passions, to the way this education opened her eyes to the importance of a healthy mind. Following three exhibitions in the last two years, a joint exhibition with another artist at Howling Wolf, involvement in a local creative showcase Strawberry Boogie and a local Wollongong artists exhibition Gongcrete Jungl. Morgannah is excited to expand her creative horizons this year in new painting projects, commissions, a solo exhibition but most importantly studying and exploring as much art, and artists both past and especially present as she can. Influences stem from an admiration of the human form, the exploration of sexual and gender identity but most importantly the celebration of inner meditation in lines and patterns. Influenced heavily by the likes of Frida Kahlo, Morgannah's illustrations are in reaction to life, reflections of emotion and mental states.
