Visual Art – Los Angeles

I am a self taught artist from the time I was a young girl. I always worked with my hands. I started when I was around 10 years old making candles and purses and selling them at the local stores. During my career as a ballet dancer, I took up knitting, needlepoint and sewing. After my ballet career was over I began making jewelry and selling them in fashion boutiques. It was at trip to Barcelona, Spain that I began my fascination with mosaics. I have continued to evolve from mosaic sculptures to incorporate other mixed mediums with mosaics. I have many styles that I like to work with. I like the unusual and quirky. I have my feminine style from my years of dance that loved the beautiful costumes of classical ballet. I also have my industrial masculine art that I love to explore. My art will always be a conversation piece. Why do it unless you can't make a statement! Enjoy my fantasies.
