We're Danni & Dan, a couple and business team of two based in the seaside suburb of Elwood in Melbourne. Dan is the creative left brain of the team and designs all of our artwork. He is inspired by all things mid-century modern & loves to experiment with abstract ideas! Danni is the perfectionist, managing the printing & finishing process to ensure that every print is of the highest quality and standard. Why Do We Print On Wood? We love to print on wood as it goes through a very minimal production process, with no chemical bleaching and the result is an incredible natural product that is perfect for printing on. We've researched thoroughly to find the most environmentally friendly & ethical supplies right here in Melbourne, so as a bonus we get to support other local businesses aswell. The local company up the road who supplies the wood takes their environmental responsibility very seriously. They participate in many environmentally sustainable initiatives such as planting trees for every $100 we spend with them, sourcing timber sheets from small sustainable plantations that work with factories that use renewable energy and carbon mileage offsetting on the importation of wood sheets. We only use recycled Envirocare card stock to back our wood prints onto and we print to order which eliminates wastage of excess stock.
