Ms. Ann's Hands

My name is Antoinette Jorge and I have been crocheting for 51 years. I am a 59 year old grandmother of 3; and a native New Yorker now residing in Hollywood, Florida. Since retiring and relocating to Florida I spend time crocheting to my heart’s content. I learned to crochet at the age of 8 in Brooklyn New York; sitting on the stoop with a friend whose name was also Ann. Mrs. Mary Alvarez (also my piano instructor) and Mrs. Lucy McNeil taught me how to crochet and helped nourish and mold my passion for crocheting. All of my work is made with tender loving care, the grace in my hands, the love in my heart; and the vision in my mind. Each piece is a reflection of me.
