A Living Daylight is A.N.T. (Vocals/Guitar); Reade (Drums); Jaysun (Guitars/Keyboards)

Tell us about yourselves.
A.N.T: I’m from rural TX, music was my only escape.
Reade: I started playing drums at age 9.
Jaysun: My dad is a musician and we had a piano in our house. I started playing music at a
very young age and have learned new instruments as I've grown.
 
How would you describe your sound?
A.N.T: Poptronic
Jaysun: A mixture of pop hooks, electronic elements, and progressive rock.
 
From where do you draw inspiration for your music?
A.N.T: Life/Music
Reade: Smashing Pumpkins, Jimmy Eat World
Jaysun: I draw inspiration from the visual arts including film, dance, and theater.
 
What do you love most about what you do?  
A.N.T: It’s the core of my true identity, which brings the highest level of fulfillment.
Reade: Artistic expression.
Jaysun: Creating sonic landscapes that extract emotion from the listeners, then performing it
live for them.
 
Any musicians, past or present, who you are strongly influenced by?
A.N.T: Jared Leto/Filo and Peri
Reade: Smashing Pumpkins, Jimmy Eat World
Jaysun: Anything that is uniquely its own and undeniably special; from Beethoven and
Mozart, to Metallica and Dream Theater, to U2 and Coldplay, to SRV and Hendrix, to
Pink Floyd and Muse.

A.N.T: Siamese Dream
Reade: Abbey Road
Jaysun: Pink Floyd's The Wall
