Before becoming a much sought-out NYC stylist, Myss Monique\'s passion for hair and beauty took shape in her childhood bedroom where she spent her free time styling & designing her dolls hair and clothing. As a teen she earned money braiding locals and eventually went on to study Fashion Design & Merchandise at Katherine Gibbs School and Cosmetology at LIBS. The Myss Monique brand lead her to work behind the scenes at one of her dream jobs, New York Fashion Week! Her amazing talent also landed her jobs with rapper 50 cent, Nickelodeon\'s Degrassi cast and New York Knicks forward Amare Stoudamire. Myss Monique specializes in fashion illustration, wardrobe styling, makeup artistry & hair art among other things. She is known for her skilled hand at hair extensions, braiding, custom made clip ons and wigs. Today, Myss Monique gives back through her artistic gifs working directly with 2 charities. www.cherishedfeet.org & National Down Syndrome Society (NDSS) where she is a board member. Myss Monique is looking forward to increasing clientele through traveling abroad, mentoring youth, becoming a salon/boutique owner and creating opportunities for herself in tv/film.
